My Journey
I understand how overwhelming, misunderstood and emotionally exhausting the world can sometimes feel for both autistic individuals and their families.
A large part of why I became passionate about this work came from my own experiences connecting with autistic and non-verbal individuals in a way that felt natural and intuitive to me. Through working closely with autistic and non-verbal individuals, I began realizing how much communication, emotional needs, sensitivities and overwhelm often go unnoticed or misunderstood by others. I also saw how important it is to look beyond behaviors and find the root cause of them by understanding the person underneath, rather than simply trying to “fix” them.
Over time, I realized that one of my strengths is helping bridge communication and understanding gaps between autistic or non-verbal individuals and their caregivers. I naturally tend to recognize emotional patterns, underlying needs, forms of communication and areas of overwhelm that may not always be obvious on the surface.
Alongside emotional and energetic support, I also focus on offering practical, personalized tools and solutions designed to best support the individual’s unique needs, sensitivities, communication style and nervous system. Many families I work with say they feel seen, understood and supported in a way they haven’t experienced before.
My work focuses on creating a supportive, strength-based approach that helps identify areas of overwhelm, dysregulation, communication differences and emotional needs while also recognizing natural strengths, gifts, sensitivities and unique ways of experiencing the world.
My goal is to help autistic and non-verbalindividuals and their families feel more supported, understood, connected and empowered while providing practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life.
